How it all began ...

Cache Photo Video has established itself as one of the finest Melbourne Wedding Photography, Melbourne Wedding Video and Melbourne Portrait studios. With many years in the Wedding industry and Portrait industry, Cache has seen many changes, especially over recent times. Kostas guided the studio through the revolutionary changes associated with Digital Photography ensuring all the while that quality has never been compromised for any client works.

Photography has always been a passion for Kostas. His first camera was passed down from his father in 1977. Kostas father, John, wanted to buy a "good camera" when travelling to Greece for the first time with his wife and 10 year old son. A keen customer and an over zealous salesman saw John Kalantzis walk out the shop with a fully manual camera; Olympus OM-1. Quickly John realised this was too much camera for him and it was given to Kostas. And so the journey begun.

Kostas view has always been to respect the value of imagery. Wedding Photographs, Wedding Videos and Portraits are not a items with a use by date; they need to last a lifetime. Kostas has made a conscious decision to never compromise on quality. Cache will only utilise the highest quality and archival photographic media (paper, canvas and fine art media), quality Australian hand made photo albums and equipment used within the studio of the highest quality.
